Corner houses
Date March 2024
Corner houses have a special function. They determine a street view on both sides. They are a corner stone for cityscapes, and have a high contribution to the overall view in a city.
They endorse the building style of the rest of a street. That is why they are so important. Often they are topped with towers, giving an extra grandeur effect (or big city effect). It really should be encouraged to bring these type of buildings back
because of their great influence on the character of a city.
Underneath are given several examples with a short description or info.
